Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Calvin Carr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Beast Bleeder! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bleeder fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Bleeder.
Carr has a takedown stuffed. Bleeder now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Bleeder shoots and misses and Carr counters with a head kick. Bleeder thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Carr if he has to take too many more of those.
Carr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carr wants it to stay on the feet. Carr is looking for a counter combo. Calvin Carr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beast Bleeder. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Bleeder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carr looking to score a takedown here. Bleeder is defending well but Carr drives through and ends up in Bleeder's guard. Bleeder looks winded! Carr stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bleeder doesn't succeed with the takedown and Carr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Carr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Beast Bleeder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carr drives through with a takedown into Bleeder's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bleeder is looking to stand back up but Carr counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bleeder. Carr is figuring out what he wants to do next. Carr throwing shots but Bleeder is blocking nicely. Bleeder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bleeder has hold of Carr's hands but Carr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Bleeder wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carr is figuring out what he wants to do next. Carr has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carr controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bleeder looks a forlorn figure.
Bleeder taking shots to the head. Carr controlling the pace for now. Bleeder is looking to get to half guard. Carr with good strikes from the mount here! Carr tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Carr scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Carr controlling the pace for now. Carr's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bleeder manages to regain half guard. Good work. Carr slips a nice elbow through Bleeder's hands, connecting with Bleeder's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Calvin Carr dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bleeder tries for a takedown but Carr circles away easily and Carr counters with a one-two to the body. Horrible takedown attempt by Carr or perhaps it was just good defense by Bleeder, which made it look bad. Bleeder misses with a series of wild punches.
Bleeder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ground and pound from Bleeder seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bleeder is breathing heavily. Carr is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bleeder has just dragged him back down to the mat. Carr sneaks back into half guard. Carr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bleeder throws a strike but Carr avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Carr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Carr is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bleeder can do to turn this around? Carr is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Carr manages to break the clinch.
Bleeder stuffs the takedown. Bleeder steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Carr.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bleeder fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bleeder throws a head kick but Carr moves out of range.
Bleeder displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carr. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Calvin Carr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carr avoids the head kick by Bleeder.
Bleeder stuffs the takedown. Carr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bleeder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carr somewhat. Carr closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bleeder's guard. Bleeder scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bleeder throws a sloppy head kick and Carr moves out of range easily. Carr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bleeder but Bleeder pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bleeder stalks Carr and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carr's face. Carr staggers backwards, shaken. Carr has Bleeder up against the cage in a clinch.
Carr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bleeder throws a combination that misses and Carr counters with a one-two to the body. Carr scores with a takedown into Bleeder's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carr wanted to stand there but Bleeder had control of the position. Carr content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Carr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Carr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Calvin Carr will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Bleeder drives through with a takedown into Carr's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carr being controlled here, momentarily. Carr controlling Bleeder's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bleeder wants to get up but he can't break Carr's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bleeder looking to sit in guard and control but Carr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Carr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bleeder works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Carr stops Bleeder from standing up. Carr stands up and waves to Bleeder to follow him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Carr looks for a takedown but Bleeder sprawls well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carr. Carr fails with a takedown attempt. Bleeder is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. A nice combination there by Bleeder.
And that's the end of the fight! Beast Bleeder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Carr has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
