Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paul Murhaa (ranked 483 p4p, 58 weight class) and Peter Manuel (ranked 637 p4p, 71 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 2 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Murhaa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Manuel! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manuel scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Manuel throws a jab when Murhaa was well out of range. Murhaa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Manuel clobbers Murhaa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A telegraphed right hand from Manuel misses the target. Murhaa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A shot to the liver by Murhaa. Beautiful body shot. Manuel moves out of range of the body kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Manuel. Murhaa does a little dance to reset his feet. Manuel misses with a body kick. Manuel throws a shot from downtown. Murhaa moves away and avoids it. A jab lands there for Manuel. Murhaa ducks right into an uppercut from Manuel. Murhaa sizes up Manuel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Murhaa walks into a jab. Jab, jab by Manuel - just one landing. Manuel misses with a looping right. Murhaa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murhaa moves out of range of the strikes. Murhaa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Manuel. Murhaa sizes up Manuel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Peter Manuel has been cut. Manuel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Manuel is still in real trouble! Can Murhaa finish him? Manuel is looking for a kimura here.
Murhaa is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Manuel seems to have recovered his senses. Manuel is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Murhaa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Manuel looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Murhaa is defending against the submission attempts here by Manuel.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Murhaa misses with an uppercut. Murhaa looks to land a left hand but Manuel moved out of range nicely. Manuel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manuel tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Manuel slips a straight right by Murhaa. Manuel changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Manuel lands with an overhand left. Murhaa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Murhaa scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Manuel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Murhaa avoids it really well and circles away. Murhaa tries to counter by clinching up but Manuel breaks away and moves out of range. Murhaa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Manuel tests Murhaa's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manuel misses the jab. Manuel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Murhaa finds it's way round the side to connect with Manuel's head. Murhaa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Manuel checks it well. Manuel misses with a straight right. Manuel throws a body shot but no joy. Murhaa is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Manuel. Manuel might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murhaa throws a push kick but Manuel slaps the foot to one side. Manuel shoots in looking for a takedown. Murhaa tries to sprawl out of it but Manuel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murhaa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Peter Manuel seems to be getting the better of the standup. Manuel scores with a jab to the body. Peter Manuel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murhaa throws a hook but Manuel avoids it easily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Manuel, right into the meat.

Manuel lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Murhaa shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Manuel throws a leg kick but Murhaa moved away. Murhaa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Paul Murhaa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murhaa throws a hook to the side of Manuel's head but Manuel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Murhaa closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Manuel has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Manuel misses with a double jab.
Manuel has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Murhaa has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Manuel. Murhaa misses with a straight left. Manuel pushes Murhaa away with a front kick. Manuel gets a takedown into half guard. Manuel is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Manuel is looking to take a break and control but Murhaa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manuel is pressing down on Murhaa's thigh, looking to free his foot. Murhaa is holding on for now. Murhaa trying to hold on to Manuel's head to control him but Manuel postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murhaa has his hands clasped together around Manuel's back. He's all about the action. Manuel seems to be looking for submissions.

Murhaa wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Manuel manages to pass to side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murhaa keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Murhaa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Manuel passes Murhaa's left leg - he's now in half guard. Manuel is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Manuel looking to sit in guard and control but Murhaa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Manuel looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Manuel keeping full guard, as Murhaa tries to pass. Murhaa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murhaa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Peter Manuel is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Murhaa misses with a straight left. Manuel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Paul Murhaa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Manuel connects with a good right hand that stumbles Murhaa. Murhaa circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Murhaa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A swing and a miss from Manuel. Murhaa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Manuel, as that shot connected.
Manuel shoots in but no luck this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Manuel digs a good body shot into Murhaa's ribs. Manuel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Murhaa has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Manuel is on him like a limpet, forcing Murhaa back against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Murhaa showed his dominance in that final round. I think Manuel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by majority decision... Peter Manuel! A relieved looking Peter Manuel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Paul Murhaa spoke after the fight, saying 'vittu'.
