Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santos Campos (ranked 5259 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mytas Jones (ranked 4995 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santos Campos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mytas Jones! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones is working an open guard so Campos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jones fails with the takedown. Jones looks winded! Campos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campos decides to stand and escape the position. Campos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Campos getting side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Campos slows the pace down in half guard. Campos lands with a punch from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Campos connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Campos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Campos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Campos shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Campos controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campos stands up and waves to Jones to follow him. Campos gets a double leg takedown into Jones's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Campos gets to his feet - Jones follows without any prompting. Campos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Campos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Campos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Campos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jones to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Santos Campos dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Campos scores with a takedown into Jones's guard. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Campos stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Campos feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Campos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campos stands up and waves to Jones to follow him. Jones is breathing heavily. Campos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Campos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Campos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Campos is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well. Campos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jones can do to turn this around? Campos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Campos controlling the position. Campos decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Campos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Campos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Campos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jones, up you get! Excellent takedown into side control there by Campos. Campos has hold of Jones's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jones seems comfortable defending it but Campos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jones is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jones is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Campos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
