Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Bjj Steel (ranked 20471 p4p, 546 weight class) and Martin Hewitt (ranked 8455 p4p, 537 weight class). Martin Hewitt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 4 losses; Bjj Steel! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Martin Hewitt!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Steel tries to keep at a distance but Hewitt has taken the fight into the clinch.
Steel tries to score a body lock takedown but Hewitt shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Steel has Hewitt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hewitt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Steel drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hewitt gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Steel looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
