Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apolinario Mabini (ranked 2602 p4p, 357 weight class) and Krzistov Wojcik (ranked 1720 p4p, 255 weight class). Mabini comes to the cage accompanied by Noypi by Bamboo. Krzistov Wojcik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabini clinches up with Wojcik and pushes him back against the cage.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Mabini.
Mabini swings wildly with an uppercut but Wojcik uses good head movement to avoid it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mabini.
Mabini lands a hook that snaps the head of Wojcik backwards.
Mabini digs a right hand underneath Wojcik's ribcage. Wojcik let out a lung full of air as it connected.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mabini lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wojcik tries to score a body lock takedown but Mabini shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Wojcik looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wojcik is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mabini pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Apolinario Mabini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzistov Wojcik.

Mabini drops Wojcik onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Wojcik is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Wojcik is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mabini creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Wojcik's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Wojcik drops to his knees and Mabini pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Apolinario Mabini!
A relieved looking Apolinario Mabini thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
