Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jouko Juntti (ranked 4774 p4p, 465 weight class) and Baby Etchecopar (ranked 4926 p4p, 478 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juntti cracks Etchecopar with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Etchecopar slips a jab and a cross from Juntti.
Etchecopar scores with a jab. Juntti acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Etchecopar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Juntti. That did some damage!
Juntti has managed to clinch.
Juntti wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Juntti tightens his grip and picks Etchecopar up, before dumping him to the ground. Etchecopar manages to land in guard.

Etchecopar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Juntti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Juntti feints and as Etchecopar raises his hands in defense, Juntti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

enabling Etchecopar to counter with a crisp jab.
Etchecopar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Juntti manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Etchecopar rushes Juntti and presses him up against the cage.
Juntti jumps guard but Etchecopar stands there with Juntti around his waist. Juntti gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Juntti counters with a nice double leg into side control. Etchecopar won't be happy with that.

Juntti is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Etchecopar's shoulder. That is not cool.

Juntti shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Etchecopar sprawls well. Etchecopar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Juntti gets slowly back to his feet.

Juntti is trying to trip Etchecopar. He has hold of a leg but Etchecopar is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Juntti persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Etchecopar is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Juntti dives into side control.
Juntti lands a decent elbow from side control.
Juntti has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Juntti was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Juntti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Etchecopar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Etchecopar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baby Etchecopar seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Etchecopar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Etchecopar doesn't manage to clinch there - Juntti circles away.
Juntti gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Juntti shoots in for a takedown but Etchecopar shows good takedown defense.
Juntti dives in for a single leg takedown but Etchecopar sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Juntti shoots in looking for a takedown. Etchecopar tries to sprawl out of it but Juntti keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Etchecopar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Baby Etchecopar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Juntti has closed the distance and engaged Etchecopar in a clinch.
Etchecopar is pressed up against the cage. Juntti has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Etchecopar down to the mat. Etchecopar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Etchecopar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Juntti drops down looking for a counter takedown but Etchecopar sprawls and moves away.

Etchecopar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Juntti's elbow.

Juntti gets control of Etchecopar's arms and successfully pulls guard. Juntti will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Etchecopar is looking to stand up but Juntti won't let him.
Juntti is looking to cinch up a triangle. Etchecopar throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Juntti's body to avoid the submission. Juntti has instead reached around Etchecopar's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Juntti arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
