The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Volkovniakoiv moves into the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Mac has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Mac breaks the clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Volkovniakoiv blocks the leg kick.
Mac moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Ladimir Volkovniakoiv has been cut.
Volkovniakoiv moves out of range of the leg kick from Mac.
Volkovniakoiv fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Volkovniakoiv fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Mac misses.
A lazy left from Mac finds it's target.
Mac leaves Volkovniakoiv with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Big Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ladimir Volkovniakoiv.
Volkovniakoiv shoots in and drives through. Mac sprawls well.
Mac shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Volkovniakoiv's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Volkovniakoiv has a closed guard, preventing Mac from standing up.
Volkovniakoiv has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mac doesn't defend quickly enough and Volkovniakoiv has managed to lock this one up! Can Mac escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Volkovniakoiv on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladimir Volkovniakoiv tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Big Mac spoke after the fight, saying 'My blood sugar started to run low and that is the only reason I lost, they should let a muthafucka to eat a candy bar or some shit during the fight.'.
