Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Lainez (ranked 3954 p4p, 58 weight class) and Packin Paulie (ranked 6555 p4p, 91 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Diego Lainez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Packin Paulie! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lainez misses with a left hand and Lainez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Paulie has his takedown stuffed and Lainez counters with a stiff right hand. Lainez gets caught napping as Paulie dives in and scores a takedown. Lainez manages to retain guard. Lainez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Paulie off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. A left lands for Lainez. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Paulie tries to clinch up but Lainez circles away and keeps his distance. Lainez was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Lainez swats away the attempt to clinch by Paulie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paulie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Paulie has his takedown stuffed and Lainez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lainez with a body punch. A glancing blow. Paulie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lainez tries to avoid it but Paulie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lainez to the ground. Lainez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. An attempted straight right counter from Lainez misses the target. Diego Lainez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Packin Paulie. Some wild striking there from Paulie.
It looked like Lainez was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Lainez misses its intended target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Paulie! But no joy. Paulie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lainez is trying to stand up here but Paulie is controlling him well. Paulie wants to control but Lainez is keeping him busy. Lainez on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Paulie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paulie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Paulie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Paulie scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lainez tries to kick Paulie off but Paulie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paulie looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Paulie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lainez manages to escape and get back to his feet! Lainez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lainez circles away from the clinch attempt and Lainez counters with a stiff right hand. Packin Paulie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paulie is looking to clinch but Lainez is avoiding it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paulie tries to clinch up but Lainez circles away and keeps his distance. Lainez is looking to counter punch. Paulie throws a lazy uppercut
and Lainez counters with a straight right hand. Lainez slips under a jab from Paulie. Lainez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Paulie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A left lands for Lainez. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lainez bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Paulie's head. Paulie closes the distance but Lainez moves to the side enabling Lainez to counter with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Lainez dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Paulie tries to clinch but Lainez is having none of it. Paulie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lainez quickly recovers to half guard. Lainez wants to stand back up but Paulie manages to pass into side control.
Lainez is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paulie scoring with punches and elbows.
It looks like Diego Lainez has been cut. Paulie lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lainez down.
Diego Lainez's cut is getting worse. Lainez is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Packin Paulie has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paulie trying to control the action but Lainez is working from the bottom. Paulie is working Lainez over with some ground and pound from side control.
Jeez, Diego Lainez's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Diego Lainez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Packin Paulie! Packin Paulie gave a mention to Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
