Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Hayashi (ranked 4964 p4p, 72 weight class) and Balthazar Tazer (ranked 3729 p4p, 53 weight class). Hayashi comes to the cage accompanied by The Charmels - As Long As I've Got You. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hideo Hayashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Balthazar Tazer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tazer tries to clinch up but Hayashi circles away and keeps his distance.
Tazer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hayashi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hayashi misses with a takedown attempt - Tazer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tazer steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hayashi.
Hayashi fails to land the takedown.
Tazer drives through and clinches with Hayashi against the cage.
Hayashi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tazer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hideo Hayashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hayashi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tazer's waist but Tazer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hayashi off to one side.
Tazer tries to clinch but Hayashi moves out of range.
Tazer has Hayashi up against the cage in a clinch.
Tazer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Tazer lands a left hand.

Hayashi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tazer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tazer is pressed up against the cage. Hayashi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tazer down to the mat. Tazer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tazer tries to clinch but Hayashi moves out of range.
Hayashi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tazer lunges at Hayashi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hayashi's hand.
Hayashi fails with a takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hayashi drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tazer lands a left hand.
Tazer lands an uppercut.
Tazer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Tazer misses with a body punch.
A head punch on the inside from Tazer fails to land.
Hayashi wants a takedown but no success here.
Tazer scores with a shot to the side of Hayashi's head.
Tazer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Tazer lands with a short shot to the head.

Tazer struggles to land a body shot inside as Hayashi controls his hands.

Tazer misses with some punches.
Tazer tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Hayashi has Tazer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hayashi pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tazer tumbling to the mat - Hayashi dives into Tazer's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tazer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hayashi is one step ahead there.
Hayashi drops back looking for a leg! Tazer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tazer manages to kick Hayashi off! Hayashi jumps back into Tazer's guard.
Hayashi postures up.
Hayashi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tazer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tazer has control of Hayashi's left arm, preventing Hayashi from doing any damage.
Hayashi postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tazer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Hayashi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hayashi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hayashi drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hayashi as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Tazer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hayashi! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Hideo Hayashi!
A relieved looking Hideo Hayashi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
