Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Tiger (ranked 7800 p4p, 533 weight class) and Jay Layne (ranked 7213 p4p, 520 weight class). David Tiger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Layne! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Layne. Tiger is looking to clinch but Layne is avoiding it.
Jay Layne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tiger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Layne's waist but Layne gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tiger off to one side. Tiger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tiger tries to clinch up but Layne circles away and keeps his distance. Layne lands a head kick!
It looks like David Tiger has been cut. Layne bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tiger is rocked! Layne throws a powerful right kick. Tiger tried to block low but the kick was high! Tiger was taken right off of his feet! Layne jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jay Layne! Jay Layne bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
