Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Mack Truck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Hughe!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truck has his takedown stuffed
and Hughe counters with a two punch combo.
Truck takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hughe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Truck gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hughe is standing up over Truck. Truck looks to escape but Hughe dives into side control.
Truck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hughe on the ground.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Truck's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hughe has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Truck is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hughe yanks on the arm and Truck is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hughe.
