Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ala Potku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potku comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Drag the Waters. Lyoto Machida has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ala Potku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lyoto Machida!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potku is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Machida is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Potku.
The fighters circling - Potku throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Potku doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ala Potku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potku throws a hook to the side of Machida's head but Machida sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd cheers as Machida lands an impressive looking overhand right. Potku doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Ala Potku has been cut.
Machida slips a jab and a cross from Potku.
Machida throws an overhand right that lands on Potku's shoulder, as Potku tries to avoid the shot.
The fighters circling - Potku throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Potku misses with a body shot.
Machida uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Potku.
Machida lands with a kick to the ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A swing and a miss from Machida.
Machida feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Potku's calf.
Potku tries to clinch up.
Lyoto Machida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Potku is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A left and a right from Machida both land. Nice combination.
Machida looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Machida lands a high kick to the side of Potku's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Machida dives into guard, looking to finish.

Potku is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Potku is looking for a triangle but Machida pushes his legs off easily.
Oh Potku is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Potku is breathing heavily.
Potku throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Potku seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Machida's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Potku is pulling down on Machida's head to control his posture.
Machida preventing the sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Potku bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Machida is looking to slow Potku down with leg kicks.
Machida misses with a wild body shot.
Machida scores with a leg kick.
Machida changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machida digs a good body shot into Potku's ribs.
Machida buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Machida ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Machida lands with a kick to the temple. Potku shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Ala Potku's cut is getting worse.
Potku on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Machida lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Machida cracks Potku with a big right hand and Potku goes down!

Ala Potku's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Machida trying to stand up but can't free himself from Potku's guard.
Potku wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Machida is now in half guard.
Machida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potku. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Potku trying to control but Machida postures up.
Potku tries to get to full guard but Machida has control of the leg.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Potku is trying to maintain the position but Machida is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lyoto Machida dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ala Potku's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Machida throws a left and a right that both miss
and Machida takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Machida slips a jab from Potku.
Potku throws a leg kick
and Machida counters with a stiff right hand.
Potku checks the leg kick nicely there.
Machida has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Machida there as he acknowledges the shot.
Machida lands a head shot.
Machida throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Potku ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Machida moves away.
Machida stuffs the takedown attempt from Potku. Potku gets slowly back to his feet.
Potku tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Machida to counter with a crisp jab.

Jeez, Ala Potku's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Potku's head backwards.
A combination from Potku does no damage.
Machida cracks Potku with an uppercut from hell and Potku crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Machida's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ala Potku's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Lyoto Machida!
