Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerr's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Them Bones. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Renzo Dorian!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorian works over Kerr's head and body with a nice combination.

Kerr pushes Dorian up against the cage in a clinch.
Kerr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kerr is trying to break the clinch but Dorian has him pressed against the cage.

Dorian has picked Kerr up - he's going for a ride! Dorian dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Dorian is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Kerr has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dorian stops Kerr from getting back to his feet.

Dorian is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Dorian is trying to control. Kerr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kerr pushes Dorian off looking to stand but Dorian dives back in and keeps control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dorian shoots in looking for a takedown. Kerr tries to sprawl out of it but Dorian keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kerr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dorian misses with a takedown attempt - Kerr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mark Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renzo Dorian.

Kerr drives through and clinches with Dorian against the cage.

Kerr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dorian has Kerr pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kerr manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kerr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dorian circles away quickly and effectively.
Kerr tries a low kick but Dorian avoids it.

Kerr on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kerr tries to get out of the position.

Dorian is trying to get an arm triangle but Kerr is defending well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kerr is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Dorian trying to control the action but Kerr is working from the bottom.

Dorian tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dorian has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dorian is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kerr has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kerr is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dorian asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Kerr throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kerr scores with a punch to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerr wants to get back to his feet but Dorian drags him back down.
Dorian is looking to take a break and control but Kerr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kerr is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dorian has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dorian prevents Kerr from escaping the position.

Kerr has given up his back. Will we see Dorian going for some submissions?

Well, with Dorian on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Kerr is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Dorian has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kerr has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dorian is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kerr knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kerr for a finish.

Renzo Dorian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Kerr lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kerr.

Renzo Dorian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A telegraphed right hand from Kerr misses the target.

Kerr keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

enabling Kerr to counter with a crisp jab.

Kerr trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
