Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Thomas (ranked 23488 p4p, 636 weight class) and Hermann Van Glost (ranked 7484 p4p, 627 weight class). Van Glost has chosen Rambo Theme Song as his entrance music. Van Glost has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Thomas fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Van Glost to the ground. Thomas is now in Van Glost's guard.
Van Glost wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Thomas manages to pass to side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Van Glost defend it? Thomas steps over the head and cranks it - Van Glost is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Thomas!
