Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Cassel (ranked 4301 p4p, 216 weight class) and Coach GnP (ranked 4294 p4p, 215 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Coach GnP was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Augusto Cassel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Coach GnP!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GnP throws a jab but it's blocked by Cassel.
Cassel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
GnP looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
GnP jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cassel ducks under a wild hook from GnP.
Cassel has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Cassel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
GnP shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cassel's guard.
GnP chips away with some ground and pound.
Cassel looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
GnP makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Cassel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cassel tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cassel has momentary wrist control but GnP slips an elbow through the middle.
GnP connects with a couple of short punches.

GnP makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

GnP distracts Cassel with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cassel is breathing heavily.
GnP landing with the ground and pound.
GnP lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
GnP lands a couple of elbows.
GnP is working Cassel over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
GnP is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
GnP with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
GnP postures up and lands a big shot to Cassel's brow.
Cassel is rocked!

GnP forces his way into half guard.
Oh Cassel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

GnP lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Cassel! More strikes land and this one is all over! GnP jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
