Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Your Nightmare!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nightmare shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nightmare scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Smith regains half guard there - taking advantage of Nightmare's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith is pressing down on Nightmare's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position.
Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nightmare is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nightmare missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Smith manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Nightmare can't escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Smith cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee warns Nightmare that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Smith lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Smith postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nightmare looks a forlorn figure.

Smith goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Nightmare turns into him and now he's in Smith's guard.
Smith lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nightmare!

Smith avoids the attempt from Nightmare to control.

Nightmare takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Smith dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Nightmare has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smith finds it's way round the side to connect with Nightmare's head.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nightmare sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nightmare shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Your Nightmare is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Smith throws a series of punches but Nightmare avoids them all with ease.
Smith works the jab nicely.
Nightmare doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Nightmare has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nightmare there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smith cracks Nightmare with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nightmare avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nightmare swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nightmare tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nightmare counters by moving into the clinch.
Nightmare is trying to maintain a safe position but Smith gets an underhook and turns Nightmare into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nightmare with a lazy takedown attempt
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nightmare is breathing heavily.
Smith moves into range and connects with a jab.
Smith is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Smith rushes Nightmare with punches - Nightmare moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Nightmare goes down! Smith follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Smith!
