Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shiny Aoki (ranked 1051 p4p, 135 weight class) and Steve Sanchez (ranked 654 p4p, 79 weight class). Aoki comes to the cage accompanied by Big Scoob - Bitch Please Ft B - Legit , E- 40. Sanchez has chosen Where is My Mind? by Pixies as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez tests Aoki's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Aoki seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Aoki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sanchez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sanchez slips under a jab from Aoki.
Sanchez looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nice uppercut lands for Aoki. That snapped Sanchez's head back.
Sanchez sizes up Aoki with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Aoki thuds his right hand into Sanchez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Aoki throws a chopping leg kick but Sanchez manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sanchez, as that shot connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aoki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sanchez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sanchez slips a jab and a cross from Aoki.
Sanchez is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Aoki with a body shot.
Aoki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sanchez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aoki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it.
Nice shot lands for Sanchez.
Aoki misses with a few strikes there.
Sanchez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sanchez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Aoki cracks Sanchez with a good jab.
Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Aoki.
Aoki lands the left hand.
Sanchez is rocked!
Aoki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Sanchez counter with a right hand.
Aoki misses with a low kick.
Sanchez is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Aoki with a body shot.
Shiny Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aoki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sanchez.
Sanchez replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Aoki blocks it well.
Shiny Aoki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Aoki misses with a double jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sanchez! But no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanchez scores with the left hand. Aoki knows he should have avoided that one.
Aoki feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sanchez sprawling to the canvas! Sanchez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Aoki finish him?!
Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Aoki finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Aoki engages and cracks Sanchez with a massive lead left hook - Sanchez tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Aoki is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shiny Aoki!

After winning the bout, Shiny Aoki thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
