Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Barbarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes to the cage accompanied by The Dropkick Murphys-The Warriors Code. Conan Barbarian has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Barbarian!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Barbarian with that takedown attempt.
Blaze fails in his attempt to clinch.
Blaze scores with a three punch combo!
Blaze throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barbarian.
Barbarian moves in looking to clinch but Blaze pushes him off.

Barbarian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blaze's guard.

Barbarian avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Blaze throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Blaze has a closed guard, preventing Barbarian from standing up.
Barbarian passes Blaze's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Blaze tries to get to full guard but Barbarian has control of the leg.
Blaze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Barbarian lands a nice short elbow.
Barbarian looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blaze with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Blaze wants to get back to full guard.

Barbarian is working Blaze over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Blaze has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Barbarian off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Barbarian bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Blaze is breathing heavily.

Barbarian stands up and beckons Blaze to his feet.

and Barbarian counters with a single leg into guard. Blaze didn't expect that.

Blaze has his foot on Barbarian's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barbarian works his way back into a safe position though.

Conan Barbarian dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Barbarian is going olschool here, as he tries to force Blaze to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Blaze shrugs it off.

Barbarian is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Blaze can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Barbarian is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Blaze can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Barbarian is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Blaze manages to get to full guard.

Barbarian stands and steps away. Blaze gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Blaze is looking for a triangle but Barbarian pushes his legs off easily.
Blaze bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barbarian's guard.
Barbarian wants to stand and escape but Blaze is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Conan Barbarian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Blaze is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Barbarian has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Barbarian!
