Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mats Madsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Hanes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madsen comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi Mind Tricks - Heavy Metal Kings. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Josh Hanes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mats Madsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Hanes!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hanes scores with a takedown into Madsen's guard.
Hanes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Madsen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hanes, into his guard.
Hanes tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Madsen tries to stand but Hanes is controlling from the bottom.

Madsen throws a nice looking combination but Hanes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hanes shoots in looking for a takedown. Madsen tries to sprawl out of it but Hanes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Madsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hanes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Madsen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Madsen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Josh Hanes has been cut.

Madsen lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Hanes sprawling to the canvas. Madsen follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Hanes hang on?

Madsen stands up from half guard.
Madsen rushes Hanes with punches - Hanes moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Hanes goes down! Madsen follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mats Madsen!
