Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dick Stern! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alastair Dunn! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stern slips under a jab from Dunn. Stern slips under a jab from Dunn. Dunn looks to throw the jab but Stern is out of range. Dunn throws a series of punches but Stern avoids them all with ease. Dunn throws a lazy right hand but Stern sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Stern feints and then cracks Dunn's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dunn down. Stern moves out of range as Dunn strikes. A combination from Dunn does no damage. Dunn looks to land a left hand but Stern moved out of range nicely. Stern punishes Dunn's body with a nice straight punch. Dunn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Dick Stern has been cut. Dunn throws a hook but Stern blocks it. Dunn lands a two punch combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Some wild striking there from Dunn.
Dunn looks to land a combination. Stern sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Dunn looks to throw the jab but Stern is out of range. Dunn moves out of range of the strikes. Alastair Dunn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dunn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stern to score with a decent uppercut. Stern loads up on a big right hand but Dunn slips the punch. As Stern backs off Dunn throws a huge counter combo but Stern manages to avoid it all. Jab by Dunn. Stern throws a big shot that misses. Dunn lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Dunn goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Stern is rocked! Dunn moves in close and cracks Stern with a massive right hand! Stern, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Dunn!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alastair Dunn! Our winner, Alastair Dunn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. In defeat, Dick Stern stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well this is a story all about how my life got twist-turned upside down; and I'd like to take a minute just sit right there, I'll tell you all about how I became the Prince of a town called Bel-Air.'.
