Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Benedetti (ranked 571 p4p, 79 weight class) and Tyron Woody (ranked 1070 p4p, 130 weight class). Benedetti comes to the cage accompanied by Bajafondo. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mario Benedetti! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyron Woody! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woody throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Benedetti. Woody has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Benedetti is landing a low percentage of strikes. Woody throws a hook to the side of Benedetti's head but Benedetti sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Benedetti ducks under a wild hook from Woody. Benedetti jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Woody takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Woody lands a right hook to the body.
Benedetti has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Benedetti defending well as Woody loads up on a big left hand. Benedetti throwing a counter right hand but Woody manages to avoid it. Woody looking to score a takedown here. Benedetti is defending well but Woody drives through and ends up in Benedetti's guard. Benedetti is controlling Woody's posture. Benedetti is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Woody won't allow Benedetti to sweep him here. Benedetti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woody is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Woody sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Benedetti's guard. Benedetti is trying to maintain the position but Woody is very close to passing his half guard. Woody is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Benedetti doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Woody. Benedetti is looking to improve his position.
