Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doug Dillinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Gonzales!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Some wild striking there from Dillinger.
Dillinger connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Gonzales.
Dillinger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gonzales wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dillinger is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gonzales off and has taken his back!
Dillinger lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dillinger is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Gonzales looks gassed!
Gonzales trying to control but not successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzales tries to roll but Dillinger sticks to his back.
Dillinger is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dillinger gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dillinger gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dillinger apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Gonzales fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gonzales throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dillinger fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Gonzales out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Doug Dillinger!
