Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lane Craig (ranked 2842 p4p, 313 weight class) and Edward Bodo (ranked 3653 p4p, 378 weight class). The key to victory for Lane Craig has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lane Craig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Bodo! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bodo misses with a looping left. Nice jab there from Craig. Bodo misses the shot to the body. Craig appears to be looking for a big counter. Craig throws a head kick but Bodo moves out of range.
Craig stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Craig feints a jab promting Bodo to slip. Craig then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bodo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Bodo throws a right and a left that both miss. Bodo takes one to the chin there. Nice defenses there by Craig. Craig tries a head kick but it misses.

Craig with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bodo to score with a decent uppercut. Craig displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bodo throws out the jab. Bodo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bodo throws out a loose jab but Craig uses good head movement to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Craig connects with a high kick. Craig has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doherty's Gym in the buildup to the fight. Bodo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Craig ducks under a wild hook from Bodo. Craig comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bodo throws a shot to the body.
Bodo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Craig eats them both and turns towards Bodo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Bodo throws a shot from downtown. Craig moves away and avoids it. Bodo misses with a shot to the body and Craig counters with a nice uppercut. A telegraphed right hand from Bodo misses the target. Bodo misses with a right hand and Craig counters with a straight right hand. Craig pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bodo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Craig to score with a decent uppercut. Craig throws a sloppy head kick and Bodo moves out of range easily. Bodo throws a poor cross that misses
and Craig counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bodo throws a shot from downtown. Craig moves away and avoids it. Craig appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Craig uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bodo. Craig throws a head kick that misses. Bodo unleashes a big counter combination but Craig bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Craig throws a series of punches but Bodo moves out of range. Craig is looking to slow Bodo down with leg kicks. Craig walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bodo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Craig. Bodo lands with a shot to the body. Bodo stuns Craig with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Craig blocks a jab. Craig catches Bodo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Bodo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Bodo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Craig thinking. Craig on the wrong end of a nice jab. Craig goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bodo tests Craig's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bodo misses with a left hand and Craig counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bodo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Craig. Bodo cracks Craig with a good jab. Bodo throws a lazy right hand but Craig sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bodo swings widly with a right hand
and Craig counters with a two punch combo. Craig takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Craig is rocked! Craig tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bodo swings widly with a right hand
and Craig counters with a straight right hand. Bodo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Craig lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bodo misses with a looping right. Bodo lands a really nice looking cross but Craig seems unphased.
Bodo throws a right hand that Craig ducks under and follows up with a left that Craig also avoids with ease. Craig dips to his left and cracks Bodo with an uppercut! Craig tries to clinch up. Craig uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bodo. Bodo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Craig is looking to clinch but Bodo is avoiding it.
Craig throws a right and a left that Bodo avoids nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bodo loads up on a big right hand but Craig slips the punch. Craig misses with a low kick.
Craig throws a nice looking combination but Bodo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Craig throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lane Craig will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

A big left from Bodo misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bodo scores with an uppercut up the middle. A head punch on the inside from Bodo fails to land. Bodo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bodo misses with an uppercut. Craig saw that one coming. Bodo has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. A slow jab from Bodo misses its intended target. Craig moves in looking to clinch but Bodo pushes him off. Craig getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Craig lands a nice shot that snaps Bodo's head back.

Craig obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Bodo misses with a hook. Craig ducked under it nicely. Bodo misses the jab. Craig is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Craig lands a lovely overhand right. Bodo misses with a double jab.

Craig sizes up Bodo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Craig uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bodo. Craig misses with a body kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bodo! But no joy. Craig scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bodo is rocked! Bodo is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Craig moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lane Craig! Lane Craig seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
