Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aarro Vainio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Reyvolt!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vainio looks to land a combination but Reyvolt avoids it well.
Reyvolt shoots in looking for a takedown. Vainio tries to sprawl out of it but Reyvolt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vainio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vainio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reyvolt, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyvolt can't get the takedown.
Vainio lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Reyvolt ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Reyvolt no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Vainio is fighting to break Reyvolt's control of his arms but Reyvolt is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Reyvolt wants to sweep here but Vainio controlling him for the moment.

Vainio's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Aarro Vainio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vainio tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Reyvolt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Aarro Vainio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vainio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reyvolt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Reyvolt drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Vainio defends it well.

and Reyvolt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Reyvolt blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Reyvolt turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Reyvolt manages to end up in side control.
Vainio takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Reyvolt tries to score with some ground and pound. Vainio controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Reyvolt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reyvolt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vainio avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Reyvolt.
Reyvolt postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Reyvolt in side control lands a decent elbow.
Aarro Vainio's cut is getting worse.
