ADWGC NY PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tribbiani Joey (ranked 3755 p4p, 306 weight class) and Ivan Putski (ranked 13733 p4p, 442 weight class). Putski comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Aids kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 10 losses; Tribbiani Joey! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 21 wins and 10 losses; Ivan Putski!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Joey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Joey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've been hearing good reports from Joey's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
