Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ciro Terranova (ranked 607 p4p, 82 weight class) and Wooden Pencil (ranked 2450 p4p, 316 weight class). Pencil has chosen Full Retard as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pencil misses with a low kick as Terranova jumps back.
We've been informed that Pencil has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pencil fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Terranova.
We've been told by Terranova's head coaches at Julius Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ciro Terranova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pencil takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Some bone on bone action there as Pencil checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Terranova swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Pencil blocks the elbow strike.

Pencil escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pencil walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Pencil swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pencil ducks under a wild hook from Terranova.

With the fighters up against the cage, Terranova throws an elbow but misses.
