Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Witcher (ranked 1621 p4p, 215 weight class) and TJ Guillard (ranked 2381 p4p, 309 weight class). Guillard has chosen Duran Duran-White Lines as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sam Witcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TJ Guillard! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guillard pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Guillard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Guillard misses with a wild combination.
Witcher tries to counter by clinching up but Guillard breaks away and moves out of range. Guillard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Witcher counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Guillard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Witcher moves away. The fight stays on the outside here - Witcher looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Witcher moves into range and clinches up with Guillard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guillard wants to break free but Witcher has control.
Witcher working some nice short punches in the clinch. Guillard wants a takedown.
Guillard is trying to break the clinch but Witcher is controlling him. A head punch blocked on the inside by Guillard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Witcher prevents Guillard from breaking the clinch. Guillard can't break the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Witcher.
Witcher lands a left hand that snaps the head of Guillard backwards. Guillard tries to break free but Witcher pushes him back against the cage. Witcher lands a left hand.
Witcher misses with a hook from the clinch. A shot in the inside from Witcher. Witcher misses with a body punch.
Guillard wants a takedown.
Guillard has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Witcher has Guillard pressed against the cage, preventing Guillard from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Witcher working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Guillard tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Witcher just stands there and leans against the cage. Sam Witcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Guillard. Guillard is looking to break free of the clinch but Witcher has double underhooks. Witcher prevents Guillard from breaking the clinch. Guillard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guillard tries to break free but Witcher pushes him back against the cage. Guillard has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Witcher uses from the top position. Guillard is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Guillard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Guillard keeping moving, preventing Witcher from controlling successfully. Witcher avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Guillard looking for a sweep. Not yet Guillard, not yet. Guillard has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Official UFC Performance Institute Training Center. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Guillard is looking for a triangle here but Witcher uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Witcher happy to just control the position for now. Guillard is trying to get back to half guard. Guillard wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Guillard is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Witcher's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Guillard looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Guillard is controlling Witcher's trapped leg to prevent Witcher from advancing to side control. Guillard moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Guillard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Witcher's guard. Guillard distracts Witcher with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guillard scoring with punches to the head and body. Guillard wants to pass the guard but Witcher is keeping the position. Witcher keeping moving, preventing Guillard from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sam Witcher will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Witcher throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Guillard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Guillard getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Guillard!

and Witcher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Guillard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Guillard throws a head kick but Witcher moves out of range.
Guillard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Guillard takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Witcher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Guillard. Witcher stuffs the takedown attempt from Guillard. Guillard gets slowly back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Witcher tries to clinch but Guillard is having none of it. Witcher dodges the punch combination from Guillard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Witcher defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Guillard. Witcher seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Guillard has a takedown stuffed. Sam Witcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Guillard. Guillard swings for the body but Witcher moves out of range.
TJ Guillard seems to be getting the better of the standup. Guillard throws a head kick that misses. Guillard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Witcher moves away. Guillard misses with a takedown and Guillard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Guillard is breathing heavily. Guillard on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Witcher fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Guillard throws a head kick but Witcher moves out of range.
Witcher cracks Guillard with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Guillard looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Witcher finish him?
Guillard is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Guillard misses with a hook
and Witcher counters by moving into the clinch. Guillard is still on wobbly legs! Can Witcher finish him? Witcher lands a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Witcher unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Guillard! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Witcher is unloading with more strikes now! Guillard drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Witcher! Sam Witcher decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, TJ Guillard stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want a rematch next week. I ain't no punk...'.
