The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nuff counters with a series of strikes. Johnson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Johnson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Johnson shoots in and bounces Nuff off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nuff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nuff looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Nuff displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.
Nuff sizes up Johnson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Nuff sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
