Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon McDiddle (ranked 5101 p4p, 113 weight class) and Akachi Okadigbo (ranked 5129 p4p, 114 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brandon McDiddle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Akachi Okadigbo! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okadigbo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Okadigbo throws a combination. McDiddle tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Okadigbo stalks McDiddle and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McDiddle's face. McDiddle staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Brandon McDiddle has been cut. Okadigbo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crunch! Okadigbo slams his shin into McDiddle's torso. McDiddle misses the shot to the body. Okadigbo unleashes a big counter combination but McDiddle bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Okadigbo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Okadigbo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Okadigbo. McDiddle is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Okadigbo. Okadigbo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McDiddle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okadigbo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McDiddle sprawls well. McDiddle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Okadigbo gets slowly back to his feet. As Okadigbo tries to get set, McDiddle tries to push him back and clinch up but Okadigbo manages to avoid the attempt. Brandon McDiddle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akachi Okadigbo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okadigbo shoots in for a double leg but McDiddle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Okadigbo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Okadigbo fails to land the takedown. McDiddle has Okadigbo up against the cage in a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. McDiddle tries to circle away but Okadigbo has him pinned against the cage. McDiddle fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McDiddle has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Okadigbo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Okadigbo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McDiddle walks away with a smile on his face. Okadigbo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Okadigbo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McDiddle defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Okadigbo is trying hard to land a takedown here. McDiddle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Okadigbo shoots in looking for a takedown. McDiddle tries to sprawl out of it but Okadigbo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McDiddle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like McDiddle was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Okadigbo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McDiddle. Okadigbo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McDiddle appears to be looking for a big counter. McDiddle displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Okadigbo. Okadigbo tries to clinch up.
And that's the end of the fight! Akachi Okadigbo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Okadigbo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
