Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adis Tomazic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Goodman!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman lands a jab-cross combination.
Goodman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Goodman falls off balance throwing a combination

and Tomazic counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Goodman is looking to get back to is feet but Tomazic passes into side control.
Goodman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Tomazic scores with a couple of short elbows.
Tomazic is staying tight to Goodman's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Tomazic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Tomazic works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tomazic is chipping away with strikes.
Goodman is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tomazic is controlling him well.
Tomazic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tomazic is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Goodman will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Tomazic looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Goodman wants to get back to his feet.
Goodman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tomazic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Goodman is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tomazic is controlling him well.
Tomazic cracks Goodman with a big elbow.
Tomazic is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Check out the look on Tomazic's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Tomazic remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Tomazic lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Goodman down.
Goodman tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tomazic sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Goodman taps out!

Adis Tomazic was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
