Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elmer Fudd (ranked 392 p4p, 57 weight class) and Cheik Imbula (ranked 289 p4p, 43 weight class). Fudd comes to the cage accompanied by Blue On Black. Imbula has chosen ~Apache~ as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fudd closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fudd looks to land a strike but Imbula avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Fudd stays in close to Imbula's body and controls the position.
Fudd wants to control from the top but Imbula keeps moving.

Imbula has his foot on Fudd's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fudd works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Elmer Fudd will probably get the nod.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fudd drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
