Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Heart (ranked 3445 p4p, 371 weight class) and Jeff Hudson (ranked 4837 p4p, 450 weight class). Heart's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eric Church - Record Year. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

10 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jeff Hudson! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heart misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hudson.
Hudson is looking for the big counter here. Hudson shoots for a double leg takedown but Heart sprawls well. He's pushed Hudson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jeff Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heart connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nice sprawl there from Heart as Hudson shoots in. We've been hearing reports that Heart has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A swing and a miss from Heart. Heart takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hudson throws a shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Hudson. Hudson looks to land a combination but Heart avoids it well. Hudson walks into a left hand. Hudson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Heart sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Peter Heart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Hudson. Heart bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice takedown defense from Heart. No joy for Hudson on that attempt. Hudson shoots in and gets a takedown into Heart's guard. Hudson looking to pass the guard. Hudson slips nicely into half guard. Hudson shoots for a takedown but Heart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Heart is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hudson can do to turn this around? Heart tries to sprawl out of it but Hudson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Heart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Heart looks to score with a jab to the body but Hudson is just out of range. Heart throws a hook but Hudson avoids it easily.

Hudson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heart was well out of range. Poor timing from Hudson. Heart was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Hudson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Heart throws a series of strikes that have Hudson backpedaling.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No luck with that takedown attempt from Hudson. Heart throws a hook but Hudson blocks it. Peter Heart is winning the standup battle so far. Heart stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Heart wants it to stay on the feet. Heart leaves Hudson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hudson is breathing heavily. Hudson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heart's waist but Heart gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hudson off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Heart throws a jab when Hudson was well out of range. Hudson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Heart connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hudson scrambles back to his feet. Hudson tries for a takedown but Heart circles away easily and Heart counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hudson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hudson is trying to control. Heart wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hudson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hudson wants to work for an arm triangle but Heart is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Peter Heart is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hudson is trying to control. Heart wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hudson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Heart is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hudson. Hudson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Heart sprawls well. Heart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hudson gets slowly back to his feet. Jeff Hudson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Peter Heart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Hudson. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hudson shoots for a double leg takedown but Heart sprawls well. And that's the end of the fight! Peter Heart showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Heart, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
