Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Mannix (ranked 3524 p4p, 425 weight class) and Angelica Nugulagamba (ranked 1902 p4p, 258 weight class). Nugulagamba comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bartolito kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tyler Mannix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Angelica Nugulagamba!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannix throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nugulagamba misses with a body shot.
Mannix bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nugulagamba's head.
Nugulagamba connects with a body shot.
Nugulagamba missing with a left hand there. Mannix was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nugulagamba scores with a jab.
Mannix throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nugulagamba throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mannix was covering up waiting for the punch and Nugulagamba finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Nugulagamba is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Nugulagamba postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Nugulagamba stops Mannix from standing up.
Nugulagamba sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mannix's guard.
Mannix might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mannix is kicking away at Nugulagamba from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Nugulagamba grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Mannix trying to push Nugulagamba off... Mannix taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Angelica Nugulagamba!
After the fight, Angelica Nugulagamba was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Tyler Mannix was interviewed post fight and said 'Psssh....'.
