The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Dani. No joy for Wanker on that attempt.
Wanker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dani on his heels. He'll look to pass Dani's guard now, I'm sure.
Wanker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Dani tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Wanker jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dani is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dani and Wanker has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Wanker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wanker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wanker is working to tighten his grip on Dani's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dani has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wanker is really squeezing tight and eventually Dani passes out! Wanker breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
