Mercado scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hoi is looking to reverse the position.
The referee asks Mercado politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mercado prefers to stall for the moment though.
Mercado lands a few punches from side control.
It looks like Chong Man Hoi has been cut.
Mercado decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hoi to his feet.
Mercado scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
