Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oo Proprio (ranked 6417 p4p, 419 weight class) and Moganesh Jain (ranked 4448 p4p, 352 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oo Proprio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Moganesh Jain! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jain cracks Proprio with an open hand slap. Jain catches Proprio with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! We've been hearing reports that Proprio has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Proprio doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jain counters with a nice double leg into side control. Proprio won't be happy with that. Jain just content to control the position. You can see the frustration on Proprio's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Proprio parries the strikes from Jain easily there. Jain is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Proprio to escape.
Jain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jain controls the position. Proprio manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's one minute gone in the round. Proprio with the ground and pound but Jain uses the opportunity to regain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Proprio postures up in Jain's guard and throws a big left but Jain blocks it. Jain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Proprio defends it easily. Proprio pushes down on Jain's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jain felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Jain is looking to get back to full guard here but Proprio has managed to pass to side control instead. Proprio tries to advance to mount but Jain denies him. Proprio misses with the ground and pound. Jain gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jain slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Proprio is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jain has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Proprio is looking to defend but Jain has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Proprio! Jain pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Proprio taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Moganesh Jain! Our winner, Moganesh Jain, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
