Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Sidious (ranked 608 p4p, 89 weight class) and Ludvig Ericsson (ranked 298 p4p, 39 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericsson shoots in but no luck this time.
Sidious throwing a counter right hand but Ericsson manages to avoid it.
Ericsson has his takedown stuffed
and Sidious counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ericsson dives in for a single leg takedown but Sidious sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Darth Sidious has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ludvig Ericsson.
Ericsson misses with a takedown
and Sidious makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ericsson really felt that one!
Sidious fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ericsson manages to avoid it.

Ericsson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sidious is fending him off so far but Ericsson persists. Nope, Sidious circles away and we're back to standing.

Ericsson shoots for a takedown but Sidious saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ericsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sidious's waist but Sidious gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ericsson off to one side.
Sidious appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Ericsson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ericsson shoots in for a takedown but Sidious shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
