Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Bon (ranked 24609 p4p, 539 weight class) and Leo Mendez (ranked 5573 p4p, 468 weight class). Leo Mendez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leo Mendez!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bon throws a nice looking combination but Mendez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bon lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Leo Mendez has been cut.
Mendez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mendez misses with a lunging right hand
and Bon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Power Wrestling Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Mendez throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Bon to counter with a crisp jab.
Bon connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Mendez! He's out on his feet! Bon rushes in and drops Mendez with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Remy Bon!
