Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacky Jackal (ranked 444 p4p, 51 weight class) and Landon Priester (ranked 389 p4p, 46 weight class). Jackal comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Landon Priester has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacky Jackal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Landon Priester!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priester misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jackal fakes the leg kick and cracks Priester in the body.
Priester throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackal misses with a right hand
and Priester counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jackal moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jackal throws a head kick but Priester moves out of range.
Priester throws a counter combo.
Jackal digs a good hook to Priester's body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackal is defended easily by Priester.

Jackal stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Priester.

Priester ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Priester chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jackal can pounce on him.

Priester is trying to maintain the position but Jackal is very close to passing his half guard.

Jackal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Jacky Jackal will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Priester, as that shot connected.

Priester swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jackal.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Priester fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jackal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Oooooh!!! Priester has knocked Jackal down with a huge combo! Priester steps away and waves a wobbly Jackal back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Priester throws a hook but Jackal blocks it.
Oh Jackal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Priester sizes up Jackal with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

A nice side step and Priester releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Priester tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackal was well out of range. Poor timing from Priester.
Jackal walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Priester checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Jackal shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jackal is looking to advance position but Priester won't allow it.
Jackal wants to advance to full mount but Priester doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Priester lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

I think Priester has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
