Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mongo shoots in but no luck this time.
Farrell thinks about countering with a head kick.
Farrell moves into the clinch successfully.
Mongo misses with a punch on the inside.
Mongo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mongo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Farrell, pushing him back against the cage.
Farrell gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Farrell is taking a breather. Mongo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Farrell is trying to drag Mongo to the mat but Mongo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Farrell is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mongo can't fight it off and eventually Farrell manages to take the fight to the floor. Mongo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Farrell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Farrell postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mongo looks a forlorn figure.

Farrell has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mongo has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
