The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guthrie keeps the fight on the outside. Guthrie dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Guthrie changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Smith tries to clinch up. Guthrie drops down looking for a counter takedown but Smith sprawls and moves away. Guthrie takes one on the button.
It looks like Teddy Guthrie has been cut. Guthrie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Guthrie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Smith is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Smith shuts the power down on Guthrie. Lights out, game over! Smith is your winner.
