Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hamid Sourian (ranked 1948 p4p, 95 weight class) and Miyazawa Muramasa (ranked 2973 p4p, 138 weight class). Sourian comes to the cage accompanied by Number One. Miyazawa Muramasa is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hamid Sourian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Miyazawa Muramasa! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sourian gets the takedown into side control. Sourian working away. Sourian grinds an elbow into Muramasa's temple. Muramasa dodges the ground and pound from Sourian. Sourian throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Sourian cracks Muramasa with a big right hand but Muramasa just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Muramasa sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Muramasa slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Muramasa avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Muramasa throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sourian postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sourian scoring with punches to the head and body. Muramasa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sourian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sourian throws an elbow that misses. Muramasa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sourian's guard. Nice move by Muramasa!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sourian looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sourian pulls Muramasa in close to prevent any damage. Muramasa trying to control the position from guard on top but Sourian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sourian is on top in guard.
Muramasa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Muramasa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sourian doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Muramasa is tightening it up a little... Sourian has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sourian reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sourian taps out! Nice BJJ there by Muramasa!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Miyazawa Muramasa! Miyazawa Muramasa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
