Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Petrelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Petrelli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rampage Penn! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn misses with a series of wild punches.
Penn gets caught flat footed, as Petrelli shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Petrelli is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Petrelli tries to free his leg and advance position but Penn is retaining full guard. Petrelli has gone for a leg lock! Penn slips out almost immediately though and dives into Petrelli's guard. Petrelli wants to sweep here but Penn controlling him for the moment. Penn wants to stand but Petrelli is controlling his posture from full guard. Penn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Penn trying to stand up but can't free himself from Petrelli's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn trying to control but Petrelli is working from the bottom. Petrelli looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Petrelli has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Penn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Petrelli. Penn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petrelli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Petrelli is breathing heavily. Penn happy to just control the position for now. Penn tries to stand but Petrelli is controlling his head. Petrelli gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrelli wants to improve his position but Penn is controlling well.
Penn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Petrelli keeps working. Penn trying to mount his opponent but Petrelli defends it. Petrelli keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Petrelli looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Petrelli looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Petrelli drops back, looking for a kneebar! Penn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Penn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Penn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn decides to take the fight back to the feet. Penn misses with a takedown attempt and Petrelli decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Penn's guard. Penn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Petrelli drops back looking for a leg! Penn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Penn manages to kick Petrelli off! Petrelli jumps back into Penn's guard. Petrelli is fighting to break Penn's control of his arms but Penn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Petrelli trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Penn is looking to stand up but Petrelli isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn trying to control the position.
Petrelli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Penn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Penn lands a with a good body shot. Penn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petrelli. Penn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Petrelli.
Penn stalks Petrelli and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Petrelli's face. Petrelli staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Peter Petrelli has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Penn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Petrelli shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Penn but Penn pushes him off and we're back to square one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rampage Penn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Peter Petrelli's cut. That's time! Petrelli's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Penn works over Petrelli's head and body with a nice combination. Penn forces Petrelli back against the cage and clinches. Petrelli turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Petrelli tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Penn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Petrelli wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Petrelli is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Penn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. You can see the frustration on Penn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Penn is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrelli working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Penn wants to control but Petrelli postures up. Penn is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Penn is trying to stand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Petrelli keeps the fight on the outside. Penn lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Penn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Petrelli circles away quickly and effectively. Penn throws a series of punches but Petrelli moves out of range. Petrelli dodges the punch combination from Penn.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. No luck for Penn with that takedown attempt. Penn misses with a straight right. Penn misses with the combination.
Penn throws a right and a left that Petrelli avoids nicely. Petrelli darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn tries to kick Petrelli off but Petrelli keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Penn is in trouble now - Petrelli has advanced to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrelli working for a guillotine from mount but Penn is in no mood to give up. Petrelli is going olschool here, as he tries to force Penn to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Penn shrugs it off. Petrelli can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Penn is looking to escape. Penn tries to hold on but Petrelli postures up. Petrelli jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Penn manages to avoid the submission attempt. Penn sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Petrelli is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Penn is just riding it out for now. Petrelli eventually gives up the hold. Penn wants to get back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Petrelli takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Penn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Penn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petrelli moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Penn scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Penn throws a right hand that Petrelli ducks under and follows up with a left that Petrelli also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rampage Penn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Peter Petrelli's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Penn tries to clinch up. Penn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Penn throws a nice looking combination but Petrelli bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Penn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Rampage Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Penn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrelli moves away. Petrelli avoids a punch combination nicely.
Penn loads up on a big right hand but Petrelli slips the punch. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn with a lazy takedown attempt and Petrelli counters with a nice double leg into guard. Petrelli advances position into side control! Petrelli is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Penn looks calm but he's in trouble here. Petrelli gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Penn is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Petrelli lets go of the hold and Penn can pop his arm back in it's socket.
