The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz shoots for a double leg takedown but Forever sprawls well. He's pushed Diaz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Diaz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Diaz slips a straight right by Forever.
Diaz closes the distance and clinches up with Forever, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes Forever against the cage but Forever circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Forever displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diaz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Forever connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diaz's hands.
It looks like Nate Diaz has been cut.

letting Forever counter with a right hand.

and Forever connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Diaz is breathing heavily.
Diaz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Forever defends well and Diaz ends up having to push Forever into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Oooooh!!! Forever has knocked Diaz down with a huge combo! Forever steps away and waves a wobbly Diaz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Forever counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Diaz out cold! What a finish! Forever is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
