The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lone cracks Buckeye with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lone shoots in for a takedown but Buckeye shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lone wants to clinch but Buckeye slips to the side

and Buckeye counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Buckeye works over Lone with some ground and pound from guard.
Buckeye controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Buckeye cracks Lone with a solid left hand.
Buckeye has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Buckeye lands a couple of digs.
Lone looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Buckeye puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Buckeye lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Buckeye is controlling the pace.

Buckeye seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lone is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
