Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Wolf (ranked 1512 p4p, 227 weight class) and Cory Trevor (ranked 2219 p4p, 314 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Wolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cory Trevor! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolf closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wolf looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Trevor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wolf asserts his dominance and retains side control. Wolf tries for a kimura but Trevor is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wolf shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Trevor as he avoids it easily. Trevor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wolf takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Trevor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wolf to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wolf might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Trevor wants to sweep here but Wolf controlling him for the moment.

Trevor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Trevor! Trevor has knee on belly and moves into mount. My spies in Russian Bears Training Center inform me that Trevor has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Wolf is trying to break free.

A low kick from Trevor is predictable there and Wolf decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trevor's guard. Wolf looking to sit in guard and control but Trevor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Trevor stands up from guard. Let's bang! Chief Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trevor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trevor wants it to stay on the feet. Cory Trevor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jab from Trevor. Wolf dives in and scores a takedown into Trevor's guard. Wolf is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Trevor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Trevor has escaped and now he's on top!

Trevor sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wolf tries to hold on but Trevor postures up. Trevor controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cory Trevor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Trevor throws a right and a left that Wolf avoids nicely. Wolf half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Wolf throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trevor's waist but Trevor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wolf off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trevor lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wolf has his takedown stuffed and Trevor counters with a crisp one two that drops Wolf! Trevor thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wolf to his feet! Wolf is in big trouble!
Wolf is rocked! Trevor looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Trevor backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Wolf's temple! It sends Wolf violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Trevor celebrates and the doctors try to help Wolf!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Cory Trevor! A relieved looking Cory Trevor thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
