Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Hare (ranked 2687 p4p, 358 weight class) and Karl Karlsson (ranked 1734 p4p, 247 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Karlsson's choice of entrance music: 300 Violin Orchestra . Peter Hare is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson lands a nice hook to Hare's body. Hare takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Karl Karlsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karlsson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hare back to the cage. Karlsson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Peter Hare has been cut.
Karlsson throws a body shot but no joy.
Hare appears to be looking for a big counter.
We've been informed that Karlsson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Karlsson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hare fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Karlsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Karlsson misses with a body punch
and Hare counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Karlsson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hare takes a kick to the side of the head.
Karlsson misses with a hook. Hare ducked under it nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Hare on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Karlsson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karlsson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hare.
Hare lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hare slips a jab and a cross from Karlsson.
Karlsson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hare comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Hare makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hare looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hare dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Karlsson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hare counters with an outside leg kick.
A lazy left from Hare finds it's target.
Hare pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Karlsson lands with a nice body kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hare.
Karlsson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hare looks to land a combination. Karlsson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Karlsson throws the kick towards the body but Hare avoids it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Karlsson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Hare takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Karlsson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Karlsson feints a jab promting Hare to slip. Karlsson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hare slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Karlsson misses with a head kick.

A telegraphed right hand from Hare misses the target.
Karlsson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Karlsson slips under a jab.
Karlsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Karlsson blocks a low kick nicely.
Karlsson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Karlsson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hare jabs at Karlsson's body.
Karlsson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hare cracks Karlsson with an open hand slap.

Hare misses the jab.

Karlsson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice straight punches there by Hare. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hare.
Karlsson throws a nice looking combination but Hare bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nice body kick from Hare.
Karlsson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hare counters with a series of strikes. Karlsson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hare looks to land a combination. Karlsson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Karlsson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hare.
Hare displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Karlsson throws out the jab.

Karlsson drops his hands momentarily and Hare takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Karlsson is rocked!
Hare scores with a jab to the body.
Karlsson looks winded!
Karlsson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hare.
Karlsson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hare lands a right hand from hell, dropping Karlsson. Hare pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Hare!
