Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damir Stojnic (ranked 5095 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khon Saroth (ranked 5113 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stojnic shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Saroth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stojnic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Saroth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stojnic escapes and gets back to his feet.
Saroth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stojnic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stojnic moves into the clinch.
Stojnic is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Saroth can't fight it off and eventually Stojnic manages to take the fight to the floor. Saroth looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Saroth manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saroth shoots in for a takedown but Stojnic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Khon Saroth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Saroth ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Saroth no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Stojnic sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Saroth's guard.

Stojnic is taking a breather. Saroth says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Stojnic manages to capitalize on a mistake by Saroth to take his back!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Stojnic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stojnic kicks Saroth off and gets to his feet.
Stojnic throws a sloppy head kick and Saroth moves out of range easily.

Stojnic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Saroth has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Stojnic is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Saroth has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stojnic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Stojnic counters with a nice body shot.
Saroth gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stojnic to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Saroth wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stojnic manages to pass to side control.

Stojnic is nestled in close to Saroth, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Saroth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stojnic tries to avoid it but Saroth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stojnic to the ground. Stojnic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stojnic throws a combination. Saroth tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Stojnic looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Saroth!
Saroth bucks up and tries to throw Stojnic off but instead Stojnic has got his back!
