Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Vale (ranked 1057 p4p, 142 weight class) and Callum Pagnozzi (ranked 1411 p4p, 182 weight class). Vale comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead-Iron Fist . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 5, fighting out of London, Callum Pagnozzi!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pagnozzi lands a big head kick that sends Vale tumbling to the mat! Pagnozzi takes a step backwards and waves Vale back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Simon Vale has been cut.
Vale throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd cheers as Vale lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pagnozzi doesn't seem phased though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Vale, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vale listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Pagnozzi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Simon Vale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pagnozzi looks to score with a jab to the body but Vale is just out of range.
Pagnozzi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vale manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vale moves out of range of the strikes.
Pagnozzi looks to land a left hand but Vale moved out of range nicely.
Pagnozzi lands a nice looking body kick.
Pagnozzi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pagnozzi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pagnozzi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Callum Pagnozzi has been cut.
Pagnozzi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pagnozzi, as that shot connected.

A swing and a miss from Vale.
Pagnozzi looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Pagnozzi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Vale ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pagnozzi moves away.
Pagnozzi is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Vale with a body shot.
Vale misses the shot to the body.
Pagnozzi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pagnozzi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Vale dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Pagnozzi.
Vale scores with a leg kick.
Pagnozzi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vale.
Vale shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pagnozzi eats them both and turns towards Vale to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vale tried to score with a low kick but Pagnozzi checks it.
Vale misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pagnozzi.

Vale lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Vale lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pagnozzi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Vale scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vale lands a jab to Pagnozzi's midsection.
Vale stalks Pagnozzi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pagnozzi's face. Pagnozzi staggers backwards, shaken.
Pagnozzi swings away with a body shot that misses
and Vale counters with a stiff right hand.
Vale scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Vale bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pagnozzi's head backwards.
Vale lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.


Pagnozzi is rocked!
Pagnozzi takes one on the button.
Pagnozzi is still on wobbly legs! Can Vale finish him?
Vale scores with a nice right hand.
Pagnozzi seems to have recovered his senses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vale just misses with a punch to the body.

Vale lands a big right hand that sends Pagnozzi crashing to the mat! Vale stays standing though and waves Pagnozzi back to his feet!

Vale cracks Pagnozzi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pagnozzi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vale finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pagnozzi dodges the punch combination from Vale.
Vale connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Pagnozzi to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Vale!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Simon Vale!
After the fight, Simon Vale was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
