Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Block Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Major Stomping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes into the arena with Slayer - Raining Blood blaring out of the sound system. Stomping comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I hate Everything about you kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell is looking to slow Stomping down with leg kicks.
Nice sprawl there from Liddell as Stomping shoots in.

Major Stomping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stomping fails with the takedown.
Stomping throws a right and a left that Liddell avoids nicely.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Liddell, right into the meat.
Stomping shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liddell pinned against the cage. Liddell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Block Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Major Stomping.

Liddell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stomping. That did some damage!

Good leg kick by Liddell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stomping tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes.
Stomping is trying desperately to land a takedown but Liddell is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Stomping.
Stomping tries to clinch up but Liddell circles away and keeps his distance.
Stomping's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Liddell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stomping takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Liddell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stomping doesn't seem bothered though.

Stomping takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Major Stomping has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stomping is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Liddell is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Liddell has escaped and now he's on top!
Stomping is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Stomping working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Liddell turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Stomping off and cradles Liddell's limp body as Stomping celebrates with his corner.
